The Montenegro Media Institute (MMI) and Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe organize a round table debate » Media forum – Journalism and New Political Reality in Montenegro «. Debate will be held on Thursday 21 November at hotel “Crna Gora” (Green Saloon), with beginning at 10:30am .
The goal of this media forum is to encourage serious and inspiring professional debate about journalism and media and their role in Montenegrin society. The event will be organized in two panel discussions:
I Journalism and New Political Reality in Montenegro - How to ensure that media in Montenegro serve as a forum for public criticism as well as to facilitate the process of reaching compromises on important social issues? II Journalists Self Regulation in Montenegro – Importance of self regulatory process in improving professional journalists standards, positive experience and future challenges.
